Wow. I became pregnant just after i turned 17. I too decided to live. I finished school and am now attending college working on a double major, which is why I am reading this speech to do a text annalysis. The difference is I also chose life for my son who is the brightest joy in my world. Killing a baby would make me feel like I wanted to die.

Dear Lorna,
What an interesting and thought provoking article you have written. It appeared to have my name on it, and I don't just mean that we share the same surname, my history is close to yours: even though I never became an academic I did study with the Open University and gained an Honours Degree at the age of 50. Further education was devied to me when I was 15, only because I was a girl,so was expected to leave school and get married and have children.

Many Thanks,
