Chang-Jin Lee: Comfort Women Wanted
Studio HCE Virtual Gallery welcomes works by Korean-born conceptual artist Chang-Jin Lee. Appropriating images from World War II newspaper advertisements, Lee addresses issues of memory and trauma as experienced by 200,000 young women gathered from their homes throughout Asia and forced into sexual slavery.
