Go to a public place, observe buildings, light, architecture, movement, the sounds of the city or town or field. The wildlife. Whatever place you choose, capture its essence with many descriptions. Use all of your five senses. Don’t write about the people. Actively concentrate on describing the outside world (not the human body).
