The Goldsmith Press exhibition “True Stories from the Goldsmith Press” offers a variety of artistic creations by members of the Clarksville community. Many fingers held thimbles and sewed quilts. One of the quilts chronicles the history of African-Americans within the community. Another was sewn as a tribute to women, and another for veterans. The Goldsmith Press is responsible for many community outreach programs in the arts. 100 t-shirts, created by children, line a small room of the gallery. From intimate journals to posters and framed incantations, many forms of community story-telling are represented in the exhibition.
