Video: Tennessee Women Writers Literary Reading

Her Circle Ezine’s Local Reading Event for International Women’s Day features the Clarksville, Tennessee Community. The readers were Mitzi Cross, Kim Leavitt and Amy Wright. Shana Thornton, Her Circle’s Managing Editor of Books and Literature, hosted the event and read a brief excerpt from her novel. Mitzi Cross chose to read an excerpt titled “The Drowning” from her memoir. Kim Leavitt read from a work of fiction titled, “Slop Hollow.” Amy Wright read prose translations of Emily Dickinson’s poetry as well as passages from her chapbooks, There Are No New Ways to Kill a Man and Farm.
