Make handmade paper by gathering plant materials and cooking, beating, and making pulp, to form sheets using Western and Asian techniques. Paper sheets can be considered as finished artwork or used in later projects. Also make a sample book with swatches of paper and recipes from plants used in class.

Jane Ingram Allen has taught classes and workshops at universities, art centers, museums and residencies in the USA, Japan, the Philippines, Brazil, Nepal, Tanzania, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan. Misty Ericson
Misty Ericson holds a BA in English & Comparative Literature from San Jose State University, California, and an MA History of Art from University of Leeds, UK. In addition to her work on HerCircleEzine.com, which she founded in 2005, Misty enjoys painting in her studio and restoring her home in the English countryside.
